Limitations in technology transfer for construction from higher institutions

Abstract
This article presents a relevant problem within the field of sustainable architecture and technological innovation: the lack of commercialization of alternative technologies for construction. The article analyzes why even when these technologies have been developed based on criteria of sustainability, adaptation to the environment and resource optimization, they have not been able to transcend from the experimental or academic field to a massive application in the housing market, as conventional materials are currently positioned.
